A Shapo widget is a short snippet of HTML. WordPress and WooCommerce accept it anywhere you can add a Custom HTML block, so no plugin is needed.
Step 1: Copy the widget code
In Shapo, open Widgets and open the widget you want to show.
Open the Add to your website section.
Click the copy button next to the code.
Step 2: Add it to a page, post or product
In WordPress, edit the page, post or product where the reviews should appear.
Click + to add a block and choose Custom HTML.
Paste the widget code into the block.
Click Update (or Publish) and open the page to see the widget.
On a product, paste the block into the product description. To show only that product's reviews, tag its reviews in Shapo and create a widget that shows that tag.
Using Elementor
Edit the page with Elementor.
Drag the HTML widget onto the page where the reviews should appear.
Paste the Shapo widget code into it and click Update.
Adding the widget to every product page
With a block theme, go to Appearance, then Editor, open the Single Product template and add a Custom HTML block where the reviews should appear. Every product that uses the template shows the widget.
With a classic theme, use your theme's or page builder's product template, or add the widget to each product's description.
Troubleshooting
The widget does not appear. Make sure you pasted the whole snippet, both the div and the script line, into a Custom HTML block rather than a Paragraph block. If you use a caching or optimisation plugin that delays or combines JavaScript, exclude cdn.shapo.io/js/embed.js, then clear the cache.
