Get tips on creating personalized email outreach campaigns with Shapo.

This guide will walk you through the steps to create and manage your own email campaigns, allowing you to effortlessly gather testimonials and feedback from your existing customers and contacts.

Prerequisites

To access and utilize the Personalized Email Outreach Campaigns feature, you need to be a Shapo Pro user with an active subscription. Additionally, keep in mind that you can send up to 500 emails per month.

Creating a New Campaign

Go to the "Campaigns" section, and click on "New Campaign" to start the campaign creation process.

Step 1: Choose Form and Upload Contacts

Choose the form where your users will submit their testimonials. If you don't have a form, create one before proceeding.

Step 2: Upload contacts

Upload a CSV file with at least two columns: name and email. Email is mandatory, but the name is optional. The wizard displays stats on unique contacts and duplicates.

Step 3: Define Campaign Details

  1. Campaign Name: Assign an internal name to your campaign.

  2. Sender Information: Set the sender's name, which recipients will see as the "From" name.

  3. Subject Line: Craft a compelling subject line for your email. You can use data fields from your CSV file to personalize the subject., for example: "Hi {{name}}, leave your feedback".

  4. Compose Message: Write the email message and personalize it using data fields from your CSV file (e.g., {{name}}). These fields will be replaced with actual data upon sending.

Step 4: Additional Options

  • Choose whether to hide Shapo branding from the email.

  • Define the text for the button that directs users to your form.

Step 5: Send a Test Email

Feel free to send a test email to preview its appearance. Simply click the Send Test Email button and enter the desired target email address.

We'll retrieve the initial row from your CSV file to provide a glimpse of the personalized content.

Step 6: Launching the Campaign

Once you've configured all the details, confirm and launch the campaign.

Note: Once launched, campaigns cannot be stopped.

Monitoring Campaign Performance

On the main campaigns list, view key statistics such as opens, clicks, and the number of users who submitted testimonials.

You can also click on a specific campaign to access the details page to see a list of recipients and their actions, including email opens, button clicks, and unsubscribe.
