Want to strengthen your website’s credibility by displaying real feedback from your Shopify customers? You’re in the right place! This guide will walk you through the steps to import reviews from Shopify, allowing you to highlight positive experiences and build trust with potential buyers.
Step 1: Start a new import
Log in to your Shapo account
In your Shapo dashboard go to "Testimonials" and hit "Import"
Step 2: Pick Shopify as the Source
A pop-up window will appear showing several platforms. Choose "Shopify" from the list of sources:
Step 3: Insert Your Shopify app URL
Copy your Shopify app link and paste it into the relevant field.
Step 4: Select Your Review Settings
After adding you link, you can choose your review preferences:
Filter Reviews: You can filter reviews based on the number of stars (e.g., only import 5-star reviews).
Ignore or fetch empty reviews: Choose whether to exclude reviews with no content, or not.
After you finished selecting your preferences, click "Fetch Reviews" to continue.
Step 5: Review and Select Which Reviews to Import
You’ll now see a list of reviews that match your criteria. Select the ones you’d like to import by checking the boxes next to each review.
Before you import the reviews, decide if you want Shapo to import new reviews Automatically or not, and add a tag if you want to have one related to your Shopify reviews:
Click "Import Reviews"
Step 6: Manage Your Imported Testimonials
Success! Your chosen reviews have now been imported and can be found in the "Testimonials" section, where you can manage them.
